As reading assignment of drugs. It can help new parents and can show other that we want the best for our children and what we can do to help them out. this way making list of ways to help them out it can help us being a better parent and show them that we care about their future. This is my list what i think to help out any children understand about life.
Many parents today worry about their children ending up in drugs. If i was a parent I would be worry too. If I had children , the most important thing to prevent them to get involve in drugs is by communicating with them. If there is no communication them how would my children will know what is expected from them. Also I would try to pay attention to what they do by spending time with them, but also giving them some space to let them know I trust them too. By spending time with my children it will give me a chance to know them better and their friends too.
Another important thing that I will do to prevent my childrento get on drugs is educating them. Teachimg them that drugs are bad and talking to themof the risk, consequences, and problems they can get in if they use drugs. Also letting them know/ undrestand that they have a voice to say "no" and walk away.
I agree with you Tania that communication and teaching children is the best way to help them to deal with drugs and acohol abuse. Paying attention to the type of kids they are hanging out with is crucial in order to see what issues they could be facing by the company they keep. Bravo for you I agree totally.
ReplyDeleteTania I think the most we could do as a parent is try and educate our kids the dangers of drugs. Being involved in your child with school and other activities to help them stay away from the dangers and even the types of kids they hand out with it is crucial. It seems most of us agree that you need to be active early in your child's life to help keep them on the right path.

DeleteYa, i feel like telling kids the short term and long term effects are the best way to keep them away from it. Even some of less dangerous drugs like weed can affect u in the long term, with memory problems and absent mindedness. I've seen plenty of people where it just messes them up.
