Marriage Experts

I interview my parents name Lupe and Felix they are marry for 25 years and they had hard times in their life. They had hard times in living in the U.S.A. They immigrated into the U.S.A they had to worry about being reported back to Mexico. they came to live and have a better life but it was hard for them to do because they did not had a place to live they have to move around and look for a place.  They worried for each other every day when they went to work because they had a hard time of coming home save and care for their children. They always working hard to do the best. Then they told me that they work hard to get a better job so they can have money to pay the rent and have papers to put together and so they apply for migration papers. They had to show papers were they were working and then they qualify for a green card and it make it better for them and they start working hard and save money to visit family and friends in Mexico. They had work hard to become a better marriage and showing us how to work hard and do the better for my future.

They told me that they wish the best for a couple. My parents expect for me to have a good marriage in the future. Also to work hard, but the most important thing she suggested me to do is to have a good communication with my partner. My parents expect me to study first and get a career and then think of marriage. This way I can give a better life to my own children someday. Just like my parents have done for me.

I like the way that my parents help me grow up and show what things that they have pass in their life as they were starting a new life. I love my parents and all that they help me out and understand how to work and how to save money for emergency and how to make a better decision in our life. I have know many things about their experience that they passed through. My parents have seen young adults join gangs, girls getting pregnant and other horrible things which has caused them to worry a lot and they have suggested me to always speak to them and some day they to have good communication with my partner.

Blog Assignment #8

what I think about the blog is that it was hard for me to know about a new web and it took me time to know about it and learn all the things to do. It take me a week to know about how to put a blog so people could comment on my blog. It was also hard for me to comment on other people web. I did not know how to start and how to click on. It took time but i learn how to do it, but there were hard times when I had trouble to do homework. Well at the end I like the blog because I learned more and had more experience working with technology (computer). I will keep using the blog so I to learn more. I have learn many things in class also how to work hard to do the blog and comment in other blogs of other group members. Especially because technology is growing so fast this can be also another tool I can use with my future students if I decide later on to teach a grade that can be beneficial for my students to use in my classroom. I am glad to have learn something new that later I can use.

Our Elders

I went to see Mrs. Avalon. She lives with her niece Karen. She is a shy lady who does not say not much. She has spent some of her life time a lone. she only receives letters from her grand children. Although, she is a person who does not says much of the time I spent with her talking she was so sweet to talk about her life. This are some things that she told me that she like to do in her house. She loves to see golf and play puzzles and also watch TV show of Family game like Jeopardy. She also like to play card but she like to spend time alone. She also thinks about their children and how they are doing but she loves to talk when she start to know you and she will tell her more about her. She told me that she use to be a nurse and she help out in War and she had a good friendship with her sister (mother of Karen). Avalon loved spending a lot of time time with her sister.  She is happy to have someone of her family close to her.

I had a good time with Mrs. Avalon and talking to her it made me happy to spend time with her as she was shy to talk I was telling her about me and that I was doing a class work and I need her help. She smile and say to me, "I will help you but i don't talk much, but you look like a nice girls and i want to know you too." So i did had a great time with her. I got some times to meet her and talk to her more and see TV shows that she likes and play cards too.

The words that i use for the six words are challenge your dreams become better person. Using the words it was hard to it in the web and it will just not let me go on but i did it. Well the words for me it is always doing what you want and making new challenge and also what you want never give up and keep dreaming and you became a better person because you are trying all times. For me is never give up in what you  want and accomplish. Using the six words is make me think a lot and pick the words i want to us. Its make us think in what we want..

Kids off Drugs

As reading assignment of drugs. It can help new parents and can show other that we want the best for our children and what we can do to help them out. this way making list of ways to help them out it can help us being a better parent and show them that we care about their future. This is my list what i think to help out any children understand about life.

Many parents today worry about their children ending up in drugs. If i was a parent I would be worry too. If I had children , the most important thing to prevent them to get involve in drugs is by communicating with them. If there is no communication them how would my children will know what is expected from them. Also I would try to pay attention to what they do by spending time with them, but also giving them some space to let them know I trust them too. By spending time with my children it will give me a chance to know them better and their friends too.

Another important thing that I will do to prevent my childrento get on drugs is educating them. Teachimg them that drugs are bad and talking to themof the risk, consequences, and problems they can get in if they use drugs. Also letting them know/ undrestand that they have a voice to say "no" and walk away.

Languages Quiz

 I did the Languages quiz I score in the highest in words of affiremantion and quality time. The affirmation was that I like people telling me that I;m doing a good job, but I think that most of the time I like to help out and I want to show that I can do the job and some times want to have the support of others. I spend most of the quality time with my family and and friends. I am always helping others and showing that we can work together and not giving up. Doing the test and answering questions of myself was nice to know more about myself and it was interesting for me to know more about me. Also how my score was not bad. I had high scores and low but does not make a difference of it.

Food Inc..

The movie of food Inc show many things that made me think what i have been eating. Also how it is getting all over are body. Also the movie made me think about the workers. How some factories get the illigais Immigrants to work for them. However, when compaines/ factories start earning a lot of money they have to get rid of 50%of people by reporting them to immigration these workers have been working for fifteen years. Factories/ Companies do not care about their workers they are more concern to make money. It surprised me that farmers are controlled by companies / factories on howthey raise their animals instruction / contract that has been reached. For most contracts farmers are expected from companies to make their aminals fat in small number of days and sell them to them less than a month. It's crazy that farmers are in pressure or else they are going to loose bussiness with companies/ factories. Also how the family that did not eat healthy they eat fast food and did not get vegestables and make a better choice.

My introduction

Hi my name is Tania. I'm studing to became a preschool assistent or teacher. I'm most of the time shy but I like to make new friends. I enjoy working with children. I am taking this class because it is a requirement. I hope by taking this class I learn new things about health. My family is important to me.
